About Me
Lynsey Bartlett
I am one of the lucky ones as I have spent most of my career fulfilling my childhood dreams. Radio was my first passion and, after making shows in my room as a child and a stint on hospital radio, I landed my first presenting gig in Wolverhampton in the late Nineties.
In 2002, now living in Hove, I was offered a weekend show on Southern FM, which became Heart Sussex in 2009. During my 17 years at the station, I presented all kinds of programmes, the most fun being the Heart Breakfast show, which I co-hosted for more than four years. I am proud to say we won a Sony award in 2010 - a radio “Oscar” if you like.
Currently, I host a weekday breakfast show on Passion Radio, a dance music station available on DAB in parts of the UK, and online here.
Thanks to many years spent in a studio, I am an experienced voiceover artist and can produce high quality audio from my home. Read more about my voice work and listen to my showreels here.
Writing had always been something of a hobby that ran alongside my radio career until I returned to college in 2016 and qualified as a journalist (NCTJ). I have used that skill to become a proficient copywriter and my clients hail from many different industries. I am also a columnist for a local paper in Brighton. See examples of the web copy, stories and articles I have written here.
The final string to my bow is event hosting. For almost two decades I have been compering large events on a regular basis. My considerable experience means your event is always in safe hands and is guaranteed to flow smoothly. Click here for my events page.
